finale; end.

9:35pm. Finally have the time to blog, perhaps even if its for brief moments.
Some updates in my life.
Wednesday was the final day of H&F, we're finally stepping down, after a year's worth of work.
For the first time in my life; i'd gladly say that i did not regret my choice at all joining H&F, i enjoyed going for every single session of H&F and spending time with the rest of the guys.
The above picture, was taken on wednesday, the H&F bball members, i'm really going to miss those guys, all the tues/weds playing basketball way past sunset before going home. Missing from the picture above are Jun jie and Kenneth tham.
Thursday was shit, forced myself to wake up with a throbbing headache but still persisted on my electrochemistry tutorial, waking up at 330am after sleeping for a mere 3 hours despite the migraine is definitely no easy matter i tell you.
H&F Exco elections were after school, this year's batch definitely has the potential, but whether they can perform, only time will tell, we have ASM's, head's of CCA's that i've probably never heard of and numerous scouts leaders O_O.
Was supposed to play bball with My Fav Teacher on thurs, but my so coincidentally my shoe decided to open lor :(, the sole almost completely detatched from whats left of the shoe, but no worries, i think next thurs can play again despite friday being the thermochem test, :) just have to remind myself to chiong this weekend, have been overslacking the past 2 weeks, mid-years are just round the corner and i really need to complete tutorials and do revision, 30days in the holiday cant possibly be enough time for me.
Friday was a short day ending @ 1255, i however, was thrown unknowingly into pre-u sem, there was supposedly a Short briefing today which started at 230, hence i spent time reading through my notes in the library with J the class chiongster :D
IMO, the briefing was pure bull, instructing us how to answer questions when guests do ask us, being ushers, we're not even allowed to offer our own opinions when guests ask us questions and are required to give TYS answers, wth?
Besides, my job is a no brainer, just directing people and giving help when required, i doubt i'll even make conversation with them :S.
Looking at My Junior college which i don't wish to name in this post though everyone knows which it is, i realise that it, while striving for its own set of goals, have lost sight of the entire meaning of education.
I mean, which JC forces you to memorise answers in standard formats, penalising you for something you well deserve credit for? Isnt education's purpose to impart skills and knowledge, i do not mind memorising, but at least give me the basis or explanation in theory as to how those standard answers came about, not memorise blindly O_O.
what i just said are purely my own comments and are directed to nobody in particular and no harm is intended nor does this comment serve any particular purpose, no ulterior motives intended, i really need to say this since i know the school probably watches me post too, somewhere, someplace, sometime, especially since its so freaking easy to find my blog too! i think u just need to do a google search on nicolas yong: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4ADBS_enSG221SG235&q=nicolas+yong and my blog just pops out can! or even do a simple search on blogsearch/technorati and can find already :(.
Oh and this week's the end of all SPA's, everyone's perhaps burnt their SPA notes already, IMO again, i'd rather have practical over SPA as SPA is almost not practical at all lor!
and that ends of my post. Bye.
And nic wrote this shit ... at 10:43 PM
