A levels, have finally come to a resounding end, next stop: Army.
Spent the entire day yesterday in Chinatown area, walking around aimlessly, a certain someone wanted to check out his bike but once more forgot that sunday was the day the shop closed again :)
Anyway, no matter how, yesterday was a pretty good eye opener for me, being an eaterner who seldom ventures further than tampines mall and perhaps orchard, i finally got to see the 'other side' of singapore, they had some really good stuff there, pity i lacked the funds or i'd definitely buy something there.
Guess thats about it cos i hafta leave the house now, and by the way, does anyone know how to install graphics cards? i really need help in this area cos i'm a dummy when it comes to CPUs.

a time to be honest
2 weeks nearing the a levels. Just had a friendly talk with some of my friends, i guess it may possibly be one of my last contact with them.
Admittingly, Meridia'n J (so that i don't get googled here) was indeed a place where i guess i matured quite a bit, i learnt the importance of responsibility for your own actions, i may not be able to articulate myself as well as some others, but i do now understand the meaning, that you reap what you sow
Regrettably, i did not form strong friendships with many in college, including my classmates, whom i probably spent the most time with, i think i kind of struggled with myself on that. I felt the sense of a lack of bonding, and the fact that as compared to the provisional admission excercise, all of us came in with one sole purpose: to excel academically. I guess after i've officially completely graduated from college, i'll probably only be in contact with about at most 7 of my friends.
And finally, on a final note, i wish you all the best of luck for any future endeavours.
P/S: i know this post sounds abit formal but these are heartfelt words.
P/s/s: i know i've used a lot of i's for this post and my language is truly atrocious in this post, but please bear with it ok?

the countdown
2 more weeks till the start!
5 more weeks till the end!
time sure passes really fast, im really looking forward to going to Jappppppannn after the A's! been ages since i last sat on a plane!
Also looking forward to going to the ar~mee! (no sacarsm intended.) Why? For the past 2 years i really haven't been able to sleep well, every weekend, im studying, every weekday, im studying, being a student in a Junior College denies you any possible break.
In comparison in the ar~mee one gets weekends off, and despite the training and all that at least u get to take a break from the books which many of us have been hitting right from when we get to primary 4...
Doesnt matter when i enlist(they haven't sent me any letter yet), i'm just looking forward to a book free life after my a levels with no worries over the weekend yeahh!

finally
its hit me, the intensity of the A levels.
Today i woke up checking the calander and realised that A levels are coming in less than a month's time. Well, better late than never, today wasn't such a bad studying day, i reckoned i put in at least 8 hours in of studying today, still far from the ideal target of 12 hours a day, but its a start from i guess a mere 4 hours the previous week.
Yes i know im sounding like a geek but if thats what it takes than so be it!
I guess dont trust in anyone in the world now, not even the closest of friends and kins.

Formula 1
I'm glad i watched Formula 1 today, because it taught me, 3 very important things that i had seemed to forget momentarily, in an impactful way.
1. When you're at the top, work 99999999 times harder than you did the last time, because all it takes is one screw up to screw you up, 1 to 18?
2. Even when you're currently at the bottom few, as long as you work hard, theres still plenty a chance to get back to the very top!
3. Even if you screw up, don't look back but look forward, because you cant change the past, but you can mould the future.

time well spent
end of the week, 10:48pm, mental note to self:thus marks the end of my 3 days break from books and i'm fully recharged.
Spent the entire weekend with my friends, regretfully sorry to my family for not spending time with them... guess i'll have to make it up next week.
Spent the entire Saturday with good buds Joaee, Jon, Dan, WG + Rayson, its been quite some time since i last saw you guys, and i guess it'll be sometime later the next time i see you guys, but i had a good time on Sat, Bballing/Lan Gaming + hanging around.
And spent the entire Saturday afternoon and evening with long time no see good ol sec school friends, catching up on whats going on in each other's life with some of us still remaining as nerdy as ever *hint hint*.
Overall i'd say this was a really good weekend well spent, i did Most, but not all of the things i set out to accomplish these 3 days break, especially playing basketball which i hope i have improved!
Now that i've catched up and spent time with my friends, i guess its time to gear up once more, for the last sprint of the year, the A levels, and what better way to start off than a good nights sleep =)
On a side note, Prison Break Season 4 is back, and Heroes Season 3: Villains premieres tomorrow, GOOD NEWS TO ALL AMERICAN TV LOVERS BABY WOOOHOOOOOO!

AMERICAN TV FTW!
My 2 all time favourite TV shows, and these awesome shows are proof that Singapore TV shows cant hold a candle to American TV.
Why? Tight budget + too much censorship/propaganda
Just looking at advertisements, don't you find local TV shows like 'sense of home' with hidden meanings subconciously instructing you to stay in Singapore?
Goodnight.
